What is MasterOS?
A control plane that gives you safe access to multiple AI models, reusable Skills, and (eventually) org knowledge and automation, from a single account. See Overview.
Which model should I use?
Start with the fast tier for most tasks — it's available on every plan. See Switch model tiers for what each tier is for.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — see current pricing and included model tiers on the plans list in the product itself (GET /v1/plans is public,
no sign-in required — see API Reference).
Can I use my own OpenAI/Anthropic API key?
Not yet. Bringing your own provider key (BYOK) is planned for a later phase — see Architecture → Components.
Can other people on my team see my files or conversations?
No — in this edition (Personal), files and conversations are private to your own account. Team-shared Knowledge is planned for the Team/Organization editions.
Where do I report a bug or ask something not covered here?
This FAQ is a starting point, not exhaustive — if something's missing, that's a gap in the docs, not necessarily in the product; check Changelog for recent changes first.
